Job Description

The municipal primary care's mission is to provide healthcare services in the patient's own home. We are responsible for patients in both ordinary and special housing as well as within the LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). We offer stimulating and varied work with a strong sense of camaraderie within the team. As a nurse, you are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and following up on healthcare interventions. You handle medication, specific nursing care, and documentation. Your daily work is varied and involves close collaboration with colleagues and relatives.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Assessing and planning care interventions based on patient needs
• Implementing and following up on treatments and medication management
• Mentoring, delegating, and educating nursing staff
• Providing advice and support to service users and relatives
• Contributing to good teamwork and a secure care environment

Healthcare work within the municipality is broad and varied, with no two days being alike. You work closely with nursing staff, other licensed personnel, and various actors from the region. You have great opportunities for a flexible workday as you can control and plan your tasks yourself. You see the whole picture in the patient's medical care and make prioritizations based on current needs.

Qualifications

• Swedish nursing license (legitimation)
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• Category B driver's license and experience driving

As a nurse, you are confident in yourself and have good self-awareness. You take responsibility for your tasks in an independent and structured manner and enjoy having your own areas of responsibility. Being attentive and accommodating in your interactions, both with colleagues, patients, and others, is second nature to you. You are clear in your communication and have the ability to ensure that information reaches its intended audience. Additionally, you adapt easily to changes and promote a good work environment. Your engagement and positive attitude contribute to a pleasant atmosphere in the work group.

We are responsible for the municipality's care for individuals and families, the elderly, persons with disabilities, municipal healthcare, as well as the labor market, integration, and adult education. The administration works on behalf of the Social Committee.
