Do you have experience in developing businesses, leading people, and building strong customer relationships within the IT industry? We are now looking for a Business Unit Manager who wants to continue developing our operations in Linköping.

The role involves overall responsibility for business, results, customers, and employees, with full P&L accountability for the unit.

The Assignment

Linköping and Östergötland are a crucial part of Nexer's operations. Here, there is an established team with strong customer relationships and positive development in recent years.

As Business Unit Manager, you have overall responsibility for the operations and great freedom to drive it forward. You work closely with customers, employees, and colleagues to create growth, profitability, and long-term relationships. We are looking for a leader who wants to build on the development that has taken place, identify new opportunities, and continue to strengthen our position in the market.

You are a visible and present leader who creates engagement, clarity, and direction. At the same time, you represent Nexer in the local market by building relationships, developing collaborations, and identifying new business opportunities.

The unit currently consists of 13 employees and is part of Nexer's office in Linköping where approximately 25 people work in total. Our customers are primarily found among larger companies in the region, and we support them in areas such as business analysis, change management, and project management.

The position is located in Linköping.

Your Responsibilities

• Full P&L responsibility with accountability for the unit's growth and profitability
• Sales, business development, and development of existing customer relationships
• Strategic work for the long-term development of the unit
• Representing Nexer in local networks and building relationships with customers and partners
• Development and profiling of the unit in Linköping
• Leadership, personnel responsibility, and competence development
• Budget, forecasting, and follow-up
• Recruitment and salary setting

You report to the Business Area Manager and are part of a leadership team together with other business managers within Nexer.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have several years of experience from the IT industry as well as experience in leading operations, people, and businesses.

You have experience from the consulting industry and are accustomed to working with sales, customer relationships, P&L responsibility, and talent acquisition. You feel confident in dialogue with customers, employees, and management groups and have a good understanding of what is required to develop a profitable consulting business.

You combine drive with good judgment and are a leader who creates results through both business acumen and trusting relationships. You take initiative, drive issues forward, and enjoy taking responsibility for decisions and implementation.

You thrive in a role where you switch between strategic work and operational business work and are driven by developing both operations and people.

A valid driver's license (Category B) is required for the role. You communicate fluently in Swedish both orally and in writing, and have good ability to communicate in English.
