About the job
Verdis collects sorted waste around Stockholm and Uppsala, and we are now looking for several positive and goal-oriented environmental workers with a Category C license and YKB certification.

As an environmental worker, you play a key role at Verdis. You are our face to the public and become one of our everyday heroes helping to keep Stockholm and Uppsala clean. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that the cleaning tasks are carried out in accordance with the company's routines and our client's requirements. You report to the local management.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Collection and transport of sorted waste using rear loaders
• Handling of vehicle computers and RFID equipment
• Reporting deviations
• Daily maintenance/inspection of vehicles and superstructures, as well as washing them when necessary
• Submitting vehicles to the workshop when needed

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a Category C driver's license with YKB certification
• Is proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you have:

• Previous experience from similar work and/or have handled "two-compartment bins" before
• Knowledge of digital deviation management

This position suits you if you are physically fit and enjoy mobile, fast-paced work. You appreciate being outdoors and have no problem working in all weather conditions. As a person, you are service-oriented, have good teamwork skills, and have a solution-oriented approach. We also believe that you are responsible and take pride in performing your work in a commendable manner.

Start: As soon as possible. Employment type and scope: Permanent position (probation period applies), full-time. Working hours: We operate Monday to Friday, daytime hours 06:00-15:00. Location: Vällsta, Upplands Väsby.
