About the role

Our client is an established logistics and distribution company located in Jordbro, south of Stockholm. They are now looking for a forklift driver with a technical interest who can keep production running on two fronts simultaneously – behind the wheel and with a screwdriver in hand.

About half of your time will be spent driving the forklift and handling goods on the warehouse floor. The rest of the time, you will maintain and repair a stretch wrapping machine that wraps pallets – when it malfunctions, you are the one who fixes it. A varied role for you who are not content with doing just one thing!

Responsibilities

• Forklift operation with A1 and A2 (pallet stapler) – sorting and handling goods on the warehouse
• Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing the stretch wrapping machine for pallets
• Contribute to an efficient and well-organized warehouse flow
• Ensure a safe and pleasant working environment

Conditions

• Employment type: Temp agency via Simplex – full-time until September, with good prospects of continuing for those who deliver
• Location: Jordbro, Stockholm
• Working hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 07:00–16:00
• Salary: 30,600 SEK/month (180 SEK/hour)
• Start: Immediately

We are looking for someone who

• Has a forklift license and is experienced with A1 and A2 (pallet stapler)
• Is technically interested and experienced in solving mechanical problems
• Is self-motivated, takes initiative, and fixes things without being told
• Is reliable, punctual, and thrives in physical and varied work
• Is flexible and steps in where needed

Advantageous qualifications

• Experience with machine maintenance or mechanical work
• Experience from warehousing or production
