About the role

Komatsu Forest is a world-leading supplier of forestry machinery and technical solutions for modern forestry. The company is committed to developing innovative products that enable efficient and sustainable logging, with a focus on quality, safety, and sustainability. In the role of mechanical engineer at Komatsu, your main task will be to analyze 3D images of Komatsu's machines, then explode the image and point out various smaller parts of the machine. You will be provided with ready-made 3D images which you will then process using CAD. The images are subsequently used in Komatsu's spare parts catalog.

Responsibilities

• Create exploded views and assembly instructions from 3D models
• Develop easy-to-understand 3D environments for assembly
• Collaborate with designers to obtain and complete information regarding drawings

We are looking for someone who

• Is a student at least 50% enrolled in a post-secondary education focused on mechanical engineering/production technology
• Has basic knowledge of CAD, for example Catia or another CAD program
• Can work 2 days a week
• Can communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing
