Your Role

As a Senior Electrical Designer at Rönnskär, you step into a key role in a complex and technically advanced environment, where your expertise makes a real difference in operations. Here, you work close to production and help drive both investment projects and maintenance tasks forward. As a Senior Designer, you combine operational work with leading assignments, quality assurance, developing working methods, and coaching others. You are a vital cog in the projects – from early investigations and requirement setting to finished design documentation – with coordinating responsibility for the electrical discipline.

Your Team

You belong to the Design section, which is part of Rönnskär's project department. The section consists of specialists in construction, mechanics, media, and electrical. Together, we are responsible for meeting the operation's need for design resources and for managing drawing documentation. We are a tightly knit team that values collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform electrical design work within maintenance and investments
• Participate in projects as discipline lead
• Develop technical requirements and standards
• Provide technical expert support during procurement
• Quality assure external design deliveries
• Develop working methods, tools, and drawing management

Your Contribution

We are looking for you who are an experienced electrical designer who thrives with significant responsibility and complex technical questions. You work in a structured and meticulous manner, have good analytical skills, and approach challenges in a solution-oriented way. You drive your work independently, communicate clearly, and have the ability to make technical reasoning understandable to different parts of the organization. With a collaborative and service-focused approach, you build good relationships with both internal clients and external suppliers.

We are looking for you who have:

• A university or college education with a relevant focus, or equivalent competence.
• Several years of experience in electrical design
• Experience leading work within project design
• Proficiency in English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Valid driver's license (Category B)

Experience within power systems, work in database environments (e.g., SiteBase), and from process or manufacturing industries is considered an asset.
