Job Description
Do you want to work on safety-enhancing initiatives in the municipality while developing into a leadership role? We are now looking for a municipal guard who can also step in as a team leader when needed.
As a municipal guard, you work actively in the community to create safety for residents. You patrol, handle alarms, and are visible in the public space. The work includes general patrolling and guarding specific locations, but the focus is on presence in different parts of the municipality.
In addition, there are opportunities to step in as a team leader. In the role of team leader, you are a central function in the operation with many contact points. You act as a link between management, customers, and staff, and are responsible for coordination, follow-up, and administrative tasks. The role of team leader also involves operational work.
- Regular working hours for municipal guard: 09:30–21:30
- When stepping in as team leader: 06:00–18:10
We are looking for someone who:
- Has an interest in both operational work and administrative tasks
- Thrives in a role with responsibility, variety, and many contact points
- Is structured, communicative, and solution-oriented
We are safety. We are Securitas.
Requirements
- Trained with VU1 and VU2
- Experience in team leadership in some form
- Passing grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
- Class B driver's license
- Previous experience from the security industry
Additional qualifications if you
- Are trained as a peacekeeper (ordningsvakt)
- Are trained as a bodyguard (skyddsvakt)
- Have administrative experience
As a person, we believe you are confident in yourself and do not hesitate to make decisions. You are a social person who easily builds trust and thrives in a role with many contact points. You are driven by solving problems and see opportunities where others see obstacles. You work independently and take great personal responsibility for your tasks, while actively contributing to developing the business by taking initiative for improvements. The role requires that you have an interest in both operational work and administrative tasks, and that you thrive in a daily life characterized by variety, responsibility, and engagement.
Taking responsibility comes naturally to you – you are simply an honest, helpful, and vigilant person who makes people around you feel safe.
