The Child and Education Administration works on behalf of the Preschool Board and the Primary School Board. The administration is responsible for preschool activities, school-age care, primary school, and adapted primary school. Our most important task is to give all children and students in Huddinge the opportunity to develop to their full potential in a secure educational environment. All our employees play an important role in this.

Our school nurse will be on parental leave, and we are therefore looking for you who can substitute for her for one year at 40%.

Solfagra RO consists of Stensängsskolan and Solfagraskolan. The schools are located in central Huddinge, in the middle of the villa area and near Lake Trehörningen.

Stensängsskolan is a two-parallel F-3 school (approx. 220 students). Solfagraskolan is an F-6 school which also has a special needs unit and adapted primary school F-6 (approx. 460 students).

Huddinge Municipality's school nurse group is led by a nurse who is the operations manager and a medically responsible school doctor. You will have regular conferences with the entire group. The school nurses are also divided into smaller network groups where they collaborate on development issues and, for example, vaccination planning. The assignment also involves documentation in digital tools (Prorenata) and other administrative tasks. You will be offered a mentor and through the regular conferences of the school health service's medical interventions, you will meet your other colleagues in the municipality. You will also be offered supervision.

About the job

Your main assignment is located at Stensängsskolan. You are driving the preventive and health-promoting work, according to the basic program, the Education Act, and the Health and Medical Services Act. You are an important part of the school's health-promoting student health work. The assignment involves close collaboration with students, parents, school staff, as well as organizations and authorities outside the school, health visits, health conversations, vaccinations, and simple healthcare.

• Are a trained nurse with specialist education in the form of district nurse, pediatric nurse, or school nurse education.

• Have experience working with children and young people.
• Have experience working as a school nurse.
