Västmanland County Museum is looking for an object antiquarian/conservator to temporarily strengthen the team working with the county museum's collections. You will be working within the three-year externally funded project "Sustainable Development of Collection Management at Västmanland County Museum" (HUSV). Responsibilities

We are looking for an object antiquarian/conservator. As an object antiquarian with your specific competence, you will work together with the project manager for object antiquarians to implement the HUSV project. Your main tasks include:

• Assist in the inventory of objects in the museum's cold storage.
• Assist in the work with weeding and carry out remediation and any care measures for the objects that are to be moved to a new location, as well as work with the move.

Västmanland County Museum is part of Region Västmanland and is located at Karlsgatan 2 in Västerås and at WestmannaArvet in Hallstahammar. Qualifications

You who apply are trained as an object antiquarian with conservator competence or have an equivalent education that is relevant for the position. Experience in object care, weeding, and moving of objects is highly meritorious. We view positively knowledge and experience of working with the database Primus.

Employment terms

Fixed-term employment, 6 months, 100%.

Location: Hallstahammar

Start date: As soon as possible according to agreement.
