The Hälsingland Municipal Consortium (KFH) is a collaboration between the municipalities of Bollnäs, Ovanåker, and Söderhamn. On behalf of the member municipalities, we are responsible for the rescue services in the area.

We are now looking for a Service Technician who wants to ensure that our operations run efficiently – every day, year-round.

About the role

As a Service Technician, you are a key figure behind the operational work of the rescue services. You play a vital role in ensuring that our equipment, vehicles, and facilities maintain a high standard and are always ready for use.

Your responsibilities include:

• Ensuring that rescue materials are intact and fully functional.
• Performing maintenance and servicing of vehicles, equipment, and facilities.
• Participating in development and operational projects related to technology and equipment.
• Supporting other functions within the consortium with practical tasks.
• Providing data for budgets and investments (no budgetary responsibility).

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is solution-oriented, responsible, and thrives in a role with varied tasks. You are good at collaborating and communicating, but can also work independently and make your own decisions.

We prefer that you have experience from the automotive industry or similar technical work.

Qualifications

• Documented experience in planned maintenance – you have practical experience with servicing, inspection, and functional checks of vehicles or technical equipment.
• Strong technical understanding – you can troubleshoot, assess condition, and carry out actions independently.
• Basic familiarity with digital work tools – you can handle simpler systems for e.g., service planning or documentation when needed.
• Ability to collaborate and give clear feedback – you communicate what is needed for the work to flow smoothly.
• Category B driver’s license (manual transmission) – required to work across the entire consortium.

Merits

• Experience from rescue services.
• Category C driver’s license.

Employment

• Permanent employment (probationary period may apply).
• Start date: September 1, 2026, or as agreed.
• Salary and terms according to collective agreement (AB).
