Job Description

We have a broad spectrum and perform both acute fracture and other acute orthopedic surgeries, planned orthopedic operations, and revision surgery. We work in bright, easy-to-navigate, modern, and fresh facilities where we have a total of 12 operating rooms, 6 belonging to Orthopedics and 6 belonging to the Surgery block.

Your main tasks will be to:

• collaborate with the rest of the team to prepare both the patient and the operating room for the planned operation.
• handle a large amount of material in connection with the operation and act as the operating nurse's extended arm.
• be involved in the development of the operations and contribute to maintaining a good working environment where we support and help each other.

Qualifications

You must be trained as an assistant nurse with proof of a protected title from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen).

You must have experience in orthopedics and have worked on an operating department. It is an advantage if you have worked in Take Care and preferably Orbit.

We currently have a vacant permanent full-time position.

About the Operations

The Orthopedics area at Danderyd Hospital is a 24/7 operation with just over 300 employees. We provide both acute and elective care and meet patients at our orthopedic clinic, at the orthopedic section of the hospital's emergency department, and at our two orthopedic inpatient wards.

We operate at the central operation with our own operating staff and also run day orthopedic operations. Our operations also include a comprehensive paramedical section.
