Your new job

Tråsättraskolan is a secondary school (grades 7-9) with approximately 430 students. Students can choose between two school profiles focusing on music or English.

Building relationships and clear structure are key words for us. As part of this, we participate in a research study at Uppsala University called IBIS. We also participate in Erasmus exchanges with schools in Spain and Germany. The school has a well-functioning structure for digitalization and student laptops, combined with physical teaching materials. The aim is to create conditions for a love of learning and greater participation in the learning process, especially for students in need of special support.

We have focused on language development and reading for several years and have a well-equipped school library.

As an employee at Tråsättraskolan, you will make a difference in the students' lifelong learning. Our operations are characterized by a positive outlook and a strong belief in the students' abilities.

As a mathematics teacher, you have a pedagogical role to work in teaching alongside the regular mathematics teachers. You are skilled in guiding students to develop and understand mathematics and in using special educational needs (SEN) competence for this purpose. You also collaborate closely with the school's science teachers, where you will provide support in classes during laboratory sessions. Since the position involves a lot of collaboration, you are someone who enjoys developing together with others.

The position does not include mentorship or responsibility for ongoing planning and grading of student groups. The position involves more direct student contact time.

Your profile

You are educated as a mathematics and science teacher and have special educational needs (SEN) education and experience.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Good leadership qualities and is clear and structured
• Ability to meet young people at both group and individual levels
• A genuine interest in students and their development
• Good IT skills and experience documenting work in an administrative system
• Good collaboration skills, flexibility, and engagement
• Easy communication with others

We want you to be positive and passionate about developing students. You enjoy collaborating with both students and colleagues to achieve good results and because it is fun. Personal suitability is highly valued.

Employment extent

Full-time during the school year 2026/2027, after which the position may become permanent.

Our collective agreement regulates the terms of employment such as salary, working hours, allowances, and other benefits within the sector.
