Jackson is a well-known Canadian brand within figure skating and ice skating, with a particularly strong position among skaters, specialized retailers, and key players in the skating industry. For several years, the brand has been part of the CCM group, providing access to a larger international organization while Jackson continues to operate as its own specialist brand. In Europe, there is a market with significant development potential where relationships, product knowledge, and presence at the right events make a clear difference. Jackson's customers range from large sports chains and distributors to smaller specialty shops with deep expertise in figure skating. The company is in an exciting phase where working methods and sales structures are being developed to create even better conditions for growth.
At Asta Agency, we collaborate with Jackson in this recruitment process. The process takes place through Asta, and you will be hired directly by Jackson.
About the RoleAs a Sales Representative, you will have a broad and international role where you are responsible for developing Jackson's sales and customer relationships in the Nordic and Central European market, covering Scandinavia, the Baltics, and Central Europe. You will work with existing customers and identify new business opportunities, with the goal of strengthening Jackson's presence among retailers, distributors, sports chains, and other key players in figure skating and ice sports.
The role combines operational sales with strategic customer work. You are responsible for driving sales through their "Booking & Repeat" model, where the goal is to have customers plan and book a large portion of their annual purchases in advance. Through active customer dialogue, clear booking windows, and long-term business development, you help customers optimize their purchases while creating stable and predictable business. To succeed in this role, you need to understand the customer's business and work proactively to ensure healthy sales development and good inventory turnover.
You will have many touchpoints, both externally and internally. Externally, you will meet everyone from small specialist retailers to large central purchasing organizations, while internally you will collaborate with customer service, marketing, product development, and finance. The role involves extensive travel throughout Europe in connection with customer meetings, industry events, and major figure skating competitions.
Qualifications and AttributesWe are looking for you who have sales experience and thrive in a role where relationships, business acumen, and curiosity go hand in hand. You are self-motivated, structured, and motivated by building business in a market where much still needs to be developed. To succeed in the role, you need to be both a hunter and a farmer; you have the ability to find new opportunities while caring for and developing existing customer relationships.
As a person, you are open, communicative, and confident in meeting different types of customers and personalities. You have a hands-on approach but also the ability to think strategically about how customers, markets, and seasons can be developed over time. Furthermore, we believe you have a genuine interest in products, the market, and customer behavior, and that you enjoy diving into the details that make a difference in a niche industry.
Additionally, you have:
Experience in sales, preferably within sports, outdoor, retail, or technical products.
Understanding of how seasonal sales, booking, and recurring order flows work.
Experience working with retailers, distributors, or large chain customers.
Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Good analytical skills and interest in understanding the market, customers, and sales data.
Opportunity and willingness to travel regularly for the role.
Meritorious experience:
Experience within skates, figure skating, or another niche sport.
Experience with hardware, technical sports products, or products requiring advisory sales.
Knowledge of French, Italian, or German.
Experience in international sales and working across multiple countries.
Post-secondary education in sales, marketing, business, or a similar field.
Start: Immediately, subject to notice period.
Location: Solna, Stockholm. Travel is part of the role.
Scope: Full-time.
Salary: According to agreement.
We apply continuous selection in this process, which means the position may be filled before the advertisement is taken down. Therefore, we recommend you apply as soon as possible!
