The Department of Children and Education works on behalf of the Preschool Board and the Primary School Board. The department is responsible for preschool activities, school-age childcare, primary school, and adapted primary school. Our most important task is to give all children and students in Huddinge the opportunity to develop to their full potential in a safe educational environment. Here, all our employees play an important role in the implementation.

The Solfagra principal's area includes Solfagra School and Stensäng School. The operations cover primary school grades 1-6, adapted primary school grades 1-6, training school grades 1-6, preschool class, and school-age childcare. In our principal's area, we assume that study peace and security are the foundation for knowledge. For learning to be enjoyable and meaningful, a safe and stable environment is required, as well as a holistic view of students' learning and development from a long-term perspective. Solfagra School will be replaced by completely new buildings, and while the new school and sports hall are being built, the school will be located in pavilions at Källbrinks IP.

This is a fixed-term employment lasting during the autumn term of 2026.

About the job

As a student assistant, you are responsible for supporting a specific student towards goal achievement both academically and socially, based on individually set goals. You also interact with guardians, class teachers, and other educators around the student.

About you

We are looking for you who have some form of pedagogical education or student assistant training, are secure, and have extensive experience working with children in need of special support in social interaction with other people. The work requires very good competence in dealing with students with challenging behavior and defiance.

We value that you have good cooperation skills, are social, and have an easy time creating trusting relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

You are calm, structured, clear, consistent, and solution-focused in pressurized situations. You are positive, take initiative, and create engagement and involvement.
