About the role

This position is aimed at students who have the opportunity to work alongside their studies. Ideally, you should be able to work approx. 1-2 times per week during the autumn semester, as well as full-time during holiday periods.

Responsibilities

• The work involves picking customer orders according to a picking list. You will use pick-by-voice technology to assist you.
• Batch and expiry date control: A critical task at Mediq is ensuring "first in, first out" (FIFO). You check that the medical products you pick have the correct best-before date and that the batch numbers match the order, ensuring no old material reaches healthcare providers.
• Packaging and packing for transport: Once the order is picked, you are responsible for packing the goods in a way that protects them during transport. This often involves choosing the right box size, stabilizing the cargo, and attaching the correct shipping label so it ends up on the correct loading dock for delivery to Region Västerbotten or other customers.

We are looking for you who

• Want a combination of flexibility and stability throughout the year:
  • Autumn: Part-time according to agreement (perfect for you who are studying or have another job).
• Can speak and write Swedish fluently, so that you can understand the introduction and carefully follow the picking list.

It is meritorious if you:

• Are studying or educated within healthcare.
• Have experience with pick-by-voice.
• Live in Umeå.
• Hold a forklift license (truckkort).
