As a van driver at PostNord, you are irreplaceable. You find your way, and your job is a journey towards climate-neutral freight transport. Transport is essential to reach all of Sweden, and we take responsibility from south to north, from rural areas to big cities. We work purposefully to reduce our environmental impact, and you will be a key part of this by, among other things, being trained in economical driving. Together, we are working towards becoming fossil-free by 2030.

This is a fixed-term position with an employment level of 66.6%. The employment starts in week 34 and runs through week 52, with the possibility of extension. Your working hours will be in the evenings, Monday–Friday between 16:30–21:30. You will be based at Norra Obbolavägen 98 C, Umeå.

What you will do

• Loading, picking up, and distributing packages.
• Meeting our customers where they are, whether they are agents, private, or corporate customers.

Who you are

• Curious and self-reliant: A large part of the job is done alone, but team spirit is important.
• Patient and confident: Life on the road is a mix of calm and stress. You keep the balance.
• Organized: Smart packing (think puzzle), preparation, and delivery are keywords. So is order and punctuality. Our customers should be able to count on you and their shipments arriving on time.
• Physically fit: Yes, you sit still during the drive, but you need to be able to handle loads when picking up and delivering. For this, you need good strength and mobility.
• Adaptable: Unplanned events require flexibility.
• Service-oriented: Customer relationships require the right attitude and empathy.
• You are unique: We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

What you bring with you

• High school diploma, or currently in your final year of high school.
• Category B driver's license and experience driving cars.
• Swedish language skills (spoken and written).
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Positive attitude and the ability to find solutions.
