We are now looking for more drivers to join our team for Airport Transfers / Multi-purpose vehicles in Umeå. We are hiring for both full-time and part-time positions.

A multi-purpose vehicle is a minibus capable of transporting passengers seated in wheelchairs. Our multi-purpose vehicles can be driven with a standard car license (Category B). However, you must hold a taxi license. As a driver of a multi-purpose vehicle, your primary tasks include wheelchair transport, but also stretcher transport, airport transfers, school trips, medical appointments, and occasionally regular taxi rides. Working hours are varied and follow a shift pattern, which means evening and weekend work may occur. We also offer other schedule types, such as afternoon/evening-only shifts or a 7-days-on/7-days-off rotation.

Employment can start as soon as possible. Training in company routines and equipment will be conducted before employment begins.

We primarily seek candidates who already hold a taxi license, but we also welcome applicants interested in obtaining a taxi license if they feel they are the right fit for the organization. For those without a taxi license, we offer support with studies (study materials, etc.) and cover the costs for obtaining the license (exam fees, medical examinations, etc.).

Driving a taxi with us is primarily about providing good service. It is a great advantage if you enjoy meeting customers and are socially inclined. You will have customer contact during every trip and play a key role in the daily lives of those using our services.

Your duties as a taxi driver will be to perform trips for Min Taxi's customers in Umeå and surrounding municipalities, providing the best possible service. Driving a taxi is a highly service-oriented profession with significant customer interaction. It is easy to assume that taxi driving mainly involves trips to/from bars on weekend evenings, as this is often what private individuals associate with taxis. However, driving with us primarily involves performing socially funded transport on weekdays. This includes medical appointments for the region, school trips, and airport transfers for municipalities, as well as business trips for corporate clients. You will constantly interact with people and often be a key link in their daily routine to get to/from healthcare facilities, schools, work, etc.

We cover a large geographical area and operate traffic in most of Norrland. We have vehicles stationed in Boden, Kalix, Luleå, Nordmaling, Robertsfors, Sollefteå, Vindeln, Vännäs, Umeå, and Örnsköldsvik. Long-distance trips across municipal borders and large parts of Norrland are common. Currently, we have approximately 175 vehicles and 250 employed drivers.

In addition to performing trips and taking care of our customers, part of the job involves keeping the vehicles you drive clean and well-maintained.

The company has a collective agreement, and salaries are determined in accordance with this agreement. Work in multi-purpose vehicles is compensated according to the following model:

New driver without professional experience
Hourly wage: 166.78 SEK/h
Monthly: 27,753 SEK / 166.4 hours

2 years of experience in the profession
Hourly wage: 171.84 SEK/h
Monthly: 28,594 SEK / 166.4 hours

4 years of experience in the profession
Hourly wage: 174.71 SEK/h
Monthly: 28,594 SEK / 166.4 hours

6 years of experience in the profession
Hourly wage: 175.31 SEK/h
Monthly: 29,171 SEK / 166.4 hours

Allowances:
31.58 SEK/h Shift Allowance (OB)
52.79 SEK/h Quality Shift Allowance (Kval-OB)
