We are looking for a psychologist for a one-year fixed-term position at our outpatient clinic for Young Adults.

Stockholm Centre for Eating Disorders (SCÄ) is one of the world's largest specialist clinics for patients with eating disorders and receives patients of all ages.

We have a well-developed operation offering digital care, outpatient care, intensive outpatient care, day care, inpatient care, and national highly specialized care for adults, children, and adolescents. Today, we have nearly 300 employees. Our outpatient and day care are located on Södermalm, and our inpatient care is at Danderyd Hospital.

Outpatient care for young adults is a unit that treats patients aged 16 to 22 with eating disorder issues and, in some cases, other psychiatric comorbidities. Our clinic works from a holistic perspective and offers evidence-based treatment CBT-E, a specific treatment method designed for patients with eating disorder diagnoses. Treatment can be provided individually, in groups, and with network members and family.

You will encounter a broad spectrum of diagnoses, making the work stimulating and educational. The work involves treating eating disorders and other psychiatric diagnoses. The position includes patient contact, administrative tasks, and collaboration with neighboring care units.

We aim to collaborate closely within our interprofessional team, which consists of doctors, psychologists, nurses, physiotherapists, and dietitians.

Responsibilities:

Your main responsibilities will be to conduct psychological treatment work, primarily individually, but potentially also in groups. The responsibilities also include clinical assessments and collaboration with SCÄ's other units, such as the outpatient care for children and the inpatient care. You will participate in treatment conferences, supervision, and method development together with the rest of the staff at the unit.

Employment type:

Fixed-term contract for 1 year.

Full-time, 40 hours/week.

Qualifications:

You are a licensed psychologist with a CBT focus.

It is meritorious if you are a senior psychologist and have experience in eating disorder care, CBT-E, and clinical psychology.

Personal qualities:

You have a strong interest in evidence-based care, have good collaboration skills, are responsible, efficient, and passionate about developing as a psychologist. You are empathetic and confident in meeting people with disabling psychiatric issues.
