To create conditions for a good learning environment and goal fulfillment, we work in a two-teacher system with small teaching groups. You and your partner colleague share a group of 34 students; your teaching group consists of 17 students.

You alternate between working with student groups and pedagogical planning, collegial learning, documentation, reflection, and systematic quality work together with other educators to develop the operation.

You engage with current research and work daily on pedagogical solutions with young people in focus, while being attuned to the needs of different students. You have the ability to adapt your teaching to the target group and are open to developing yourself together with colleagues and the work team.

The work is carried out in a trusting manner and in close collaboration with colleagues, students, and guardians.

Väringaskolan is located on Harberget in the nature-rich town of Sigtuna. The operation consists of preschool, preschool class, school, and after-school center with nearly 300 enrolled children.

Väringaskolan is run as a non-profit association that has existed since 1991. The principal has been delegated responsibility for the school's ongoing operations and personnel resources by the association's board.
