We are now looking for an independent dental nurse who understands the importance of good service and a welcoming attitude.

Main duties and responsibilities

We work in a positive spirit where teamwork and business development are natural elements. We find challenges and new thinking exciting and strive to engage all employees in the clinic's development work. Folk Dental Care is continuously developing digitally, and we in Kinna aim to always be at the forefront of this. Therefore, we have digital scanning, sensors for X-rays, etc. We also believe it is important to have fun at work.

Folk Dental Care Kinna is a bright and beautiful clinic with 7 treatment rooms. Here work 5 dentists, 3 dental hygienists, and 9 dental nurses. The clinic is located in the center and has good communication links to Gothenburg, Borås, and Varberg.

The clinic's opening hours are 07:00–19:00 Monday to Wednesday and 07:00–16:00 Thursday and Friday.

The position includes among other things:

• Assisting during examinations and treatments
• Working with own patients during prophylaxis treatments, introductions, oral health counseling, or adaptation treatments
• Work in the sterile room and reception

We are a VFU (clinical training) clinic and receive students from the dentistry and dental hygiene programs at the University of Gothenburg. Supervision/assistance of students may also become part of the position.

Competency requirements and profile

• Trained dental nurse with an education approved by MYH (The Swedish Authority for Higher Vocational Education).
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• Ability to independently handle administration.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and smart way.
• Ability to give a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do.
• Ability to cooperate and relate to other people in a listening manner.
• Contribute to the development of the business by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work.

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually designed supervision program during the first period. The supervision program is part of our two-year development program for newly graduated dental nurses.

About the recruitment process

The first step in the recruitment process is a digital interview with HR. After the application period ends, the clinic manager selects candidates and invites them for an interview at the clinic. Interviews are scheduled for May 11th.

Folk Dental Care Västra Götaland Region conducts checks in the suspicion and criminal registers before employment.
