The responsibility of the Care and Elderly Care Administration is to provide care, support, and assistance to the elderly and people with disabilities, as well as support for their relatives. The Role and Responsibilities

The Nurse Unit is looking for a Dietitian who wants to help develop nutritional work within elderly care. In this role, you will primarily work at a comprehensive and strategic level, supporting the operations in matters concerning diet and nutrition.

You have a central role in the team and work in close collaboration with nurses, who in turn are responsible for the daily work close to the patients. Your task largely involves supporting, guiding, and developing methods within the field of nutrition. You compile, analyze, and present data, as well as convey results and recommendations to both nurses and the management of the operations. You are also responsible for leading dietary committee meetings and conducting nutritional rounds in collaboration with nurses at each residence. In this way, you contribute to strengthening quality and creating a common structure in nutritional work.

  • Responsible for overall assessments and providing recommendations within the field of nutrition.
  • Compiles, analyzes, and presents results from, for example, overnight fasting measurements and meal observations.
  • Supports and guides nurses in nutrition-related matters.
  • Leads dietary committee meetings and collaborates with dietary representatives in the operations.
  • Conducts nutritional rounds in collaboration with nurses.
  • Contributes to developing and structuring the operations' work with nutrition.

You will belong to the Nurse Unit, which consists of 51 employees: unit manager, nurses, a dietitian, and an administrator.

You Who Apply to Us

Requirements: You are a licensed dietitian and have at least two years of experience in the field.

Other requirements:

  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, especially HSL (Health and Medical Services Act) and SoL (Act of Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments).
  • Experience working in operational systems.
  • You have experience using Swedish in speech and writing in a professional role.
  • Valid B-driver's license.
