Nurse for Orthopedic Ward 3, Bollnäs Hospital

Bollnäs Hospital is a small and cozy unit where collaboration between different operations is the key to success. On Orthopedic Ward 3, we work in a close-knit and well-functioning team that together takes care of patients in need of inpatient care after planned surgeries within orthopedics, surgery, and urology. Our workday is characterized by camaraderie and good cooperation where we help each other and have clear, planned routines that create security in work. The ward has 18 beds and is open around the clock Monday–Friday.

Job Responsibilities

We welcome you who have a high focus on quality and patient safety. You work from a person-centered perspective so that patients are well-informed, involved in their care, and able to make decisions about their own health and treatment/rehabilitation. Day, evening, and night shifts are included. The position includes working every fourth weekend on the medical ward.

As a nurse with us, you will mainly work with:

• Pre- and postoperative care
• Nursing responsibility
• Dressing changes
• Rounds
• Contact with doctors, surgeons, physiotherapists

Qualifications

We are looking for an engaged nurse who enjoys working closely with colleagues and other professions, and who meets patients and relatives in a professional and empathetic manner. You plan and structure your work in an efficient and organized way. With a problem-solving approach, you handle everyday challenges in a secure and independent manner.

In the role of nurse, you must:

• Be a licensed nurse.

For this position, experience working on a care ward is meritorious.
