About the job

Position: Summer holiday substitute with varying hours during the summer.

Start date: As agreed, summer 2026.

Working hours: Early mornings, late evenings, and weekends occur as a natural part of the work.

We welcome applicants of all ages, but due to the Working Environment Act, you must be at least 18 years old to work in our production departments: meat, fish & delicatessen, or bakery.

You put the finishing touch on the customer experience

You have the chance to make a big impact on our customers' visits, so you have an important task in making the customer experience smooth and pleasant. This might mean a friendly smile, an unexpected question, or a helpful attitude, so that the customer finds their way in the store. You ensure that the customer leaves happy – preferably with an extra item in the basket and a good feeling!

What will you do?

Every day brings new meetings and challenges, but some of your main tasks are:

• Ensure that customers leave the store with a smile (and maybe an extra item or new inspiration).
• Work with packaging, restocking, and creating a pleasant store environment with order and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with colleagues throughout the store – we are a team and help out where needed!

The tasks vary depending on which Fresh Food department you work in!

• In our meat department, you work with cutting fresh Swedish meat, cut in-store.
• Contribute to offering our customers a fresh and inviting meat and charcuterie department.
• Work with customer service and sales over the counter in our manual fish and delicatessen department.
• Work with baking and production of everything from sourdough bread to princess cakes.
• Work with customer orders, restocking, and creating a pleasant store environment with order and cleanliness.
• Contribute to offering our customers a fresh and inspiring bakery department.

Who are you?

You are a natural problem solver who likes speed and action. A friendly hello and an extra helping hand are second nature to you. Do you have a great interest in really good meat? Super! If you have worked with meat and cutting – even better!

We believe that you:

• Have a high school education and are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. Since our customers speak more languages, it is fantastic if you do too.
• Have previous experience/training in fresh food handling and cutting is a plus.
• Have previous experience/training in bakery or confectionery is a plus.
• Love meeting customers and believe that service should be genuine and engaged.
• Enjoy doing things together and contribute with energy and joy.
• Are curious, solution-oriented, and see when something needs to be done and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves to get it done!
