Speech Therapist for Furuhöjden

Do you want to work in an environment where your expertise makes a real difference – every day? At Furuhöjden, you will work closely with patients in a dedicated team where quality, collaboration, and development are at the forefront. As one of our speech therapists is retiring this autumn, we are now looking for a new speech therapist to join our fantastic team.

About Furuhöjden

Furuhöjden is a private healthcare company consisting of four operations; Rehabilitation, Rehab Center, Nära Vård & Hälsa (Close Care & Health), and Occupational Health. Our vision is to be a personal and seamless choice for health, care, and rehabilitation. Our philosophy is to provide person-centered care and rehabilitation, always with the individual at the center.

Here, colleagues collaborate across different areas of expertise, helping individuals maintain and regain their health and quality of life. We believe in minimizing contact points and silos within healthcare so that the individual receives the general care, specialist care, advice, and rehabilitation they need. We call this personal and seamless care – our vision.

At Furuhöjden, we have short decision-making paths and work closely together to achieve the organization's goals. We have accessible managers, HR, and the CEO, all located in the same building as the operations, to increase opportunities for good collaboration and open communication.

About the Role

We are looking for a licensed speech therapist with experience in neurology for our growing operation. Here, you will meet patients with neurologically based speech, language, and swallowing difficulties, and you will become an important part of their rehabilitation and daily life.

The work involves both clinic visits and home visits, giving you a varied and meaningful workday. You will also work in our inpatient rehabilitation, where you work in a multidisciplinary team and actively contribute to developing our working methods and patient flows.

The role is organizationally placed at our speech therapy clinic and is overarching for all of Furuhöjden's units, giving you an exciting and varied role where you get to influence and develop the future of speech therapy with us.

Your Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments of communication, language, speech, voice, and swallowing difficulties
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate individual treatment plans for patients
  • Conduct home visits to patients who need treatment or support in their home environment
  • Collaborate with other parts of Furuhöjden's operations to create the most seamless care possible for patients
  • Provide support and advice to patients and their relatives as needed

About You

You are a curious and engaged speech therapist who thrives in close collaboration with other professions and sees the strength in an interdisciplinary approach. In a flexible operation where work can vary between different units and contexts, you feel secure and adaptable. You have the ability to work independently and drive your work forward, while contributing to the team's common goals with a non-hierarchical and cooperative spirit. You are happy to share your knowledge, for example, by holding thematic lectures on speech, voice, and swallowing, and have a genuine interest in developing both working methods and the operation as a whole.

Furuhöjden's core values are: positive, thoughtful, professional, non-hierarchical, and idea-rich. These are values we actively work to uphold, and we see it as an advantage if you, as an applicant, also feel that you can stand behind these values to succeed in this role with us. We place great emphasis on personal qualities and suitability for this role.

Requirements

  • Are a licensed speech therapist
  • At least 2 years of work experience as a speech therapist
  • Have experience in neurological rehabilitation
  • Experience in treatment both individually and in groups

Merits

  • Experience from home visits and/or work with SÄBO (Special Needs Housing)
  • Experience in clinic work
  • LSVT certification

We Offer

You will become part of a growing operation with a strong focus on neurology, rehabilitation, and quality care. Here, we work closely together across professions and units to create the best conditions for our patients. You will get:

  • Close teamwork with high competence
  • Opportunity to influence and develop the operation
  • A workplace characterized by engagement, quality, and collaboration
  • A daily routine where your ideas are valued

Conditions

The position is permanent, 75-100%, Monday-Friday. We are a company affiliated with a collective agreement and apply a probationary period during the first 6 months of employment. We offer a wellness allowance of 5,000 SEK and a pension plan. Selection and interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. We conduct background checks in connection with this recruitment.
