As a forklift driver for our client in Halmstad, you will become an important part of a productive team where safety, quality, and efficiency are prioritized. You will handle goods, load and unload vehicles, and perform internal transport within the facility. This is a staffing assignment via Lernia with good opportunities for extension or transition to direct employment with the client.

About the Role

In this position, you are responsible for safely and correctly moving materials between storage areas, production stations, and vehicles. You will collaborate closely with production and warehouse staff, report deviations, and ensure the workplace is well-organized. The work may involve lifting heavy loads, packaging, and basic documentation in internal systems.

• Operating forklifts (picking, internal deliveries, loading/unloading)
• Ensuring goods are correctly packaged and labeled
• Following workplace environment and safety procedures
• Reporting errors and deviations, and participating in inventory checks when needed
• Maintaining order in the forklift fleet and tools, and performing basic inspections

About You

Formal Qualifications

You have completed forklift training (e.g., counterbalance or order picker) and have documented experience in forklift operation. You are accustomed to working in digital systems for registration and reporting, and can read delivery notes and labels. Good Swedish skills in both speech and writing are required to follow safety protocols and communicate with colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in warehouse or production work, forklift licenses for multiple forklift types, experience with logistical processes, and familiarity with working in fast-paced teams are considered meritorious. A B-class driver's license is meritorious but not a requirement.
