About the job

We are looking for summer substitutes for three different roles - you specify in your application which role suits you best, or if you are open to all three. The three roles have varying tasks, but you always start by changing clothes and packing your cart at the cleaning center before heading to your area or department.

Healthcare-adjacent service

Here you are part of a service team working directly on the hospital ward. The tasks are varied and include, among other things, the patient kitchen, storage management, and cleaning. The work is done in close collaboration with healthcare staff, and you will also have contact with patients and relatives, which requires clear communication and professional conduct.

Daily/regular cleaning

You clean receptions, corridors, and common areas at the hospital or health centers around Varberg Municipality. The work is more independent than the other roles and requires responsibility and attention to detail to maintain the healthcare sector's hygiene requirements.

Deep cleaning

The deep cleaning group is a team that works based on orders from partners at the hospital and health centers. The work is physical and includes machine operation and possibly driving if you have a driver's license.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written (language test may occur during the interview)
• At least 16 years old (if you are between 16-18 years old, a guardian's signature is required)
• Pass/National ID. If you have citizenship outside the EU/EEA, you need a work permit.

Merits

• Previous experience in cleaning, service, hotel, or home care
• Category B driver's license and access to a car
• Forklift license

• Is flexible and can shift focus when the situation requires it

Salary

The salaries below are minimum wages for young people, not general salary levels.

• 16-18 years: 127 SEK/hour
• 18+: 139 SEK/hour
