We have a vacancy and are therefore looking for a summer substitute for Vardaga Home Care in Ullstämma

We are looking for a summer substitute and offer a meaningful extra job where you can make a difference for another person, gain valuable work experience, and meet wonderful colleagues. In home care, we primarily travel by bicycle, but also on foot and in some cases by car. Physical activity and (hopefully) sunshine during working hours are included as extra bonuses.

We are looking for someone who can work with us during the summer of 2026 – primarily weeks 25–33.

We have security housing in the Ullstämma district, with adapted apartments as well as daily lunch service and a comprehensive leisure program for our elderly residents. The primary task is home care work at our customers' homes – including both personal care and household services.

Your role

Your task is to provide quality of life. You see each individual and have the ability to understand what each person needs. Home care work at our customers' homes in the area, including both personal care and household services – e.g., showering, shopping, meal delivery, and answering security alarms.

You work with tasks delegated by nurses and express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Documentation is part of the job. We work with time and effort registration.

You are part of a well-established team with close contact with the group leader and colleagues. Contact with nurses is made through the home healthcare service.

Your qualifications

We are looking for you with a genuine interest in working with the elderly and providing care according to their needs. You enjoy working independently and understand the importance of good treatment in every situation. Experience in care work is a great advantage. Cycling is a basic requirement and a driver's license is a bonus.

You have good computer skills and experience with documentation. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing is a requirement. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
