We are looking for a connection engineer for the power grid who wants to contribute to a sustainable future in Uddevalla. Do you have post-secondary education in electrical power and want to help develop the power grid of the future? Do not hesitate to submit your application.

Uddevalla Energi Elnät distributes energy to 26,800 customers within Uddevalla Municipality. The grid includes lines and transformer stations from 40 kV via 10 kV down to 400 V. The demands on the power grid are increasing as society grows and we become more dependent on a reliable electricity supply. Our goal is that every krona invested should create customer benefit and a reasonable grid tariff for our customers. We work long-term and invest heavily in renewing, strengthening, and expanding the power grid at all voltage levels.

Your main tasks involve working with connections to the power grid, which includes everything from providing quotes and preliminary design, to inspection and invoicing. In your work, you will have close contact with businesses, household customers, and installers. You will also collaborate closely with your colleagues who prepare and perform the work in the field. You will primarily work from the office, but field visits will occur.

As a person, you are solution-oriented and know how to plan your work for the best results. You can work both independently and in a team, and you enjoy customer contact. We would like you to have experience with connection issues and knowledge of distribution networks and electrical installations. Qualifications

• Post-secondary education with a focus on electrical power, electrical installation, or equivalent.
• Good computer skills.
• Driver's license for passenger cars.

Meritorious

• Experience in project planning, preparation, electrical installation, operation, and maintenance of the power grid.

Other On-call duties may be included in the position.
