About Viksjöskolan

Viksjöskolan is a municipal school for grades 7-9 with approximately 670 students. Our school has ample resources, including special education teachers, social pedagogues, school psychologists, counselors, school nurses, study and career counselors, and IT technicians.

As a new employee at Viksjöskolan, you will have a mentor during your first school year. You will also have many colleagues who collaborate and challenge each other. Additionally, you will receive ongoing professional development throughout the year.

Viksjöskolan has its own kitchen where the food is appreciated by both students and staff. We serve three dishes daily, along with plenty of various vegetables and often freshly baked bread.

Job Responsibilities

We are currently recruiting for 1 position with the following responsibilities:

• Teaching Swedish in grades 7-9.
• Homeroom teacher (mentor) for a class, working together with a co-mentor.

The position is a temporary assignment at 80% during the autumn semester.

Qualifications and Merits

We are looking for someone with good leadership skills, who collaborates easily and has the ability to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You value developing together with others and have strong knowledge of the Swedish language.

Requirements:

• Swedish teacher certification in the subject of Swedish.

Merits:

• Certification in Swedish as a second language.

Employment Terms

• Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
• Duration: 3-6 months.
