RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Signal Technician at Infranord, you will encounter exciting, varied, fun, and social work. Here, you will spend a large part of the day outdoors together with your work team and in collaboration with other colleagues. Your work varies between new construction, inspection, and troubleshooting of the signaling system in our railway environment. Much of the work is carried out via digital systems and through documentation of controls and fault reports.

Working hours vary, and since travel, on-call duties at home, as well as weekend and night work may occur, it is important that you live in the local area.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have:

• Approved upper secondary education with a focus on electricity, signal technology, or equivalent.
• Approved basic signal training, e.g., BSG1, BSG2, as well as Signal Technical Principles and Fundamentals (BSGS).
• Ability to work varying hours.
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.
• Category B driver's license (manual).
• Meet medical requirements to be approved for safety service.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Professional experience in signal technology work within the railway sector.
• Electricity Safety Leader; track work, tools, and track vehicles, low and extra-low voltage.
• Safety and Security Leader (SOS Leader).
• Supervisor (TSM) for A-, L-, E- protection and road traffic controller.
• SISÄ authorization.
• Knowledge of various relay or computer-based interlocking systems (e.g., model 59, 65, 85, 95, etc.).
• ATC, equipment, and system functions (BSATC), preferably experience from ERTMS.
