We are looking for an Electrical Schematic Designer for our client in Linköping. In this role, you will work on the development and design of complex electrical systems for both existing and future aircraft platforms. You will become part of a technically advanced operation where collaboration and system understanding are central.

Responsibilities

As an Electrical Schematic Designer, you are responsible for creating and developing system and wiring schematics as well as associated documentation. The work is carried out in close collaboration with several technical disciplines.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Design of system and wiring schematics, primarily in Siemens Capital
• Creation of 2D drawings and technical documentation
• Collaboration with systems engineers and other design areas for system integration
• Participation in studies related to new functionality and concept development
• Support to production as well as to customers in operational service

You work with complex electrical systems where requirements for accuracy and compliance with regulations are high. The role also involves contributing to the integration of electrical systems with other systems, such as hydraulics, pneumatic systems, and other installations.

Team and Collaboration

You are part of a team of approximately 10 people and work closely with colleagues within electrical installation, system integration, and other design disciplines. The role involves broad interfaces within the organization.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Post-secondary education in electricity or electronics, e.g., university or vocational college education
• At least one year of relevant work experience in electrical design, power engineering, system design, or schematic drawing
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Experience working with 2D-CAD

Meritorious:

• Experience with Siemens Capital

The assignment is classified. Prior to employment, you must undergo a security clearance check and be approved according to current security protection regulations. This may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
