We are looking for a dental nurse who understands the importance of good service, patient treatment, and development.

Main tasks and responsibilities

At Folktandvården Axel, you will meet patients of all ages with various care needs. As a dental nurse with us, you play a key role in ensuring that patients feel well-treated and secure during their visit. You will utilize your full range of competencies, while the position also requires creativity, empathy, and a service-oriented mindset.

The role includes among other things:

• Assisting with examinations and treatments
• Working with own patients during prophylaxis treatments, introductions, oral health counseling, or adaptation treatments
• Working in the sterile area
• Working at the reception

Competency requirements and profile

• Trained dental nurse with education accredited by MYH (Swedish Agency for Higher Vocational Education)
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry
• Swedish language skills equivalent to Swedish upper secondary school or Swedish C1 in both speech and writing
• Ability to independently handle administration
• Ability to organize and prioritize work in an efficient and smart manner
• Ability to give a stable and calm impression even when busy
• Ability to collaborate and relate to other people in a listening and empathetic way
• Contribute to the development of the business by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored supervision program during your first period. The supervision program is part of our two-year development program for newly graduated dental nurses.

About the recruitment process

If you are not already employed by us, you will be contacted by recruiters from the HR unit for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for weeks 25-26.

Folktandvården Västra Götalandsregionen conducts checks in the suspicion and criminal registers before employment.
