Consultant Nurse Needed for Psychiatric Ward – Autumn Assignment

Are you a nurse with experience in psychiatry, looking for an assignment where you can work closely with patients in a safe and professional care environment?

We are now looking for nurses for an assignment within inpatient psychiatric care during autumn 2026.

About the Assignment

You will work on a general psychiatric ward focusing on inpatient care and psychiatric nursing. The unit works with a person-centered approach where safety, structure, and collaboration are central parts of the care.

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Psychiatric nursing
• Medication management
• Observation and assessment of patients
• Counseling and support for patients and relatives
• Documentation and care planning
• Collaboration with physicians and other professions

You will work in a multidisciplinary team where communication and collaboration are important parts of daily work.

Working Hours & Introduction

Work is performed according to a schedule involving day, evening, and night shifts.

An introduction is planned prior to the start of the assignment to ensure safety and good conditions within the unit.

Period & Scope

• Period: Week 36–44
• Scope: Approximately 307 hours
• Working hours according to schedule

We are looking for you who

• Are a licensed nurse
• Have experience in psychiatric care
• Are confident in independent assessments and nursing work
• Have good collaboration skills and a professional attitude
• Thrive in a unit where patient contact and continuity are important

Requirements for Presentation

The following documents need to be available for the presentation:

• Updated CV
• Adult CPR training certificate
• Two current references from the most recent assignment or employment
