We are currently seeking vacation substitutes for the Social Care Administration in Värnamo Municipality for the period week 25–32.

For those interested in starting already during spring, this may be possible and is often considered an advantage.

Working within elderly and disability care is not just a job – it is a chance to contribute to quality of life and create meaningful moments for others. Our operations are located centrally in Värnamo, as well as in our outer areas such as Forsheda, Bredaryd, Bor, and Rydaholm.

Within elderly and disability care, you can work in the following areas:

• Specialized Housing
• Home Help Service
• Personal Assistance
• Group Homes
• Service Apartments
• Housing Support

Job Responsibilities

As a vacation substitute with us, you will have a varied and social job. Here, you have the opportunity every day to make a difference by providing support and services based on the individual needs and wishes of the users. Your tasks may include:

• Personal care and delegated healthcare tasks.
• Service tasks such as cleaning, laundry, cooking, and shopping.
• Promoting social interaction and creating secure relationships.

We are looking for you who want to work as:

• Personal Assistant.
• Support Assistant or Support Assistant within disability care and psychiatry.
• Assistant Nurse or Care Assistant within elderly care.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are at least 18 years old when the employment begins and who have a genuine interest in working with people. You have a positive attitude towards your work and see the importance of good cooperation with colleagues. The profession also involves working alone, which requires you to take initiative, be receptive to others, and be responsible.

Education within healthcare and social care, as well as experience in similar operations, is meritorious but not a requirement – the most important thing is your personal qualities and your willingness to learn. You master the Swedish language in both speech and writing, this to be able to communicate with users, but also to be able to document events and other information in the work.

Working in the home help service requires that you can cycle, and it is meritorious if you have a B-driving license.

We prioritize applicants who can work for a longer continuous period (w 25-32). Great importance is attached to personal qualities.
