We are looking for a Nurse/Community Nurse for a temporary position with our home care team at Kista Health Centre!

Kista Health Centre is now seeking an engaged nurse or community nurse for our team for a temporary position during parental leave within home care. Here, you will work in a stable and well-functioning organization where collaboration, quality, and patient focus are at the center.

Kista Health Centre has just over 11,000 registered patients and is located in the middle of Kista Galleria. It takes approximately 17 minutes from the city center by subway, and there are good cross-connections by bus.

At the health centre, doctors, community nurses, nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, receptionists, psychologists, and a rehab coordinator work together. We are approximately 40 employees working together to take care of our patients in a team. You can read more about us here: Kista Health Centre.

We are also one of four health centres with a unique assignment, SMO – Coordinated Medical Care for Patients with Permanent Disabilities. Another assignment we have is being the first line of care for mental ill health in children and young people aged 6–17.

Job Responsibilities:

You will work with standard responsibilities within home care at the health centre together with a team consisting of nursing assistants, nurses, community nurses, and doctors. Work inside the clinic also occurs, which includes telephone advice, clinic work, triage, and medical assessments.

Documentation is done in Take Care, and we use the telephone system TeleQ.

Employment Type:

Temporary position from September 2026 to February 2027. Full-time. Working hours Monday–Friday.

Qualifications:

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse or community nurse with prescribing rights and authorization to work within Swedish healthcare.

Experience working in primary care is highly meritorious. We would like you to have experience with the medical record system Take Care.

The position will be filled provided it does not need to be taken for internal relocation, according to current regulations.

Regarding patient-facing work within Stockholm County Council Healthcare Area:

- Register control is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register control upon employment.

- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new hire medical examination, according to current directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.

- In addition to Swedish professional licensure, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirement is guiding for non-licensed staff with patient contact.
