Nurse at Psychiatric Clinic Höglandet Nässjö
Are you a creative, engaged, and solution-focused nurse who wants to be part of a positive and dedicated work group? We welcome your application!
The Role of the Nurse
The work includes reception duties where you will have both individual patient visits and team-based patient visits. Together with your colleagues, you will also work with telephone advice, medication management, treatment, psychoeducation, and the development of digital processes. Decisions on measures and interventions are made in collaboration with the patient and the team and are based on the best relevant evidence, benefit, and alternatives.
You will collaborate with many different professions such as occupational therapists, social workers, doctors, psychologists, psychotherapists, rehabilitation coordinators, nurses, care assistants, and healthcare administrators. The role also involves contact with the municipality, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, and other external partners. The position is a permanent full-time employment with start date according to agreement.
Your Future Workplace
At Psychiatric Clinic Höglandet, we have approximately 190 employees. We have operations at the Psychiatric House in Eksjö, which includes a reception, referral and assessment unit, emergency reception, as well as 24 care beds distributed across two care wards. The clinic also has outpatient clinics in Eksjö, Nässjö, Tranås, and Vetlanda. The clinic's resources are distributed so that we take into account both the clinic perspective and county-wide psychiatric care processes. We participate in the development and implementation of joint care programs and psychiatric care processes in the region.
At the Reception in Nässjö, we currently have 24 employees with the professions of specialist doctors, psychologists, psychotherapists, social workers, specialist nurses, nurses, occupational therapists, care assistants, and healthcare administrators.
For us, it is important to always keep the patient in focus. We create trust and good conditions for effective, high-quality specialist psychiatric care through a holistic view and continuity in the care chain. We see strength in having a palette of different psychological perspectives (medical, cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and systemic), which we see as a prerequisite for making correct assessments and providing adequate interventions for our patients. At the Nässjö reception, we actively work for equal treatment, and the unit is, of course, HBTQI-certified. We place special emphasis on ensuring that all employees have the opportunity to participate in development and improvement work; we want to utilize our different competencies and help each other. Involving patients and relatives is a prerequisite for success, as is collaboration with care partners.
How We Develop the Operations
We work systematically with improvement, including with the support of Esther coaches. Our focus is accessibility from a holistic view as well as good nursing and medical results. Our working method is person-centered and is continuously developed.
Your Profile
We are looking for you who are a specialist nurse in psychiatry with a genuine interest in the field and who want to make a difference in people's daily lives. Previous experience of working in psychiatric care or related areas is meritorious, as is completed Step 1 training, but not a requirement.
You are a secure and stable person who enjoys working both independently and in a team, where your ability to collaborate is an important element. You have a good ability to structure your work in an efficient way and the courage to act based on your own convictions. You adapt easily to changed circumstances and have the ability to see things from a larger perspective. Personal suitability is given great weight.
Our Offer to You
We offer you an individually adapted introduction followed by a varied and developmental work with the possibility of specialization within one of our clinical program areas. You will have the opportunity to develop in your professional role and contribute to the development of psychiatry's care processes.
