Nurse Position at the Cardiac Ward in Hudiksvall

On the cardiac ward and the cardiac intensive care unit at Hudiksvall Hospital, nurses, nursing assistants, and cardiologists work together to ensure our patients receive the right care at the right time, that our staff enjoys their work, and that our working methods are modern and efficient. Care and consideration for both patients and each other are at the center of our approach, as we believe that together we create safe and secure care. The ward has 22 care beds and treats patients with various medical conditions and heart diseases.

As two of our colleagues move on to new chapters, we are therefore looking for two nurses who want to become part of our wonderful team. Come and make a difference with us!

Job Responsibilities

Working as a nurse on the cardiac ward involves varied and meaningful work where you meet patients in both acute and stable phases. Here, you become a key person in the patient's experience of care and an important part of the team that monitors, treats, and supports.

Your main responsibilities:

• Act as the team leader for your care team and coordinate both medical and nursing issues.
• Care for patients with various types of medical diseases/heart diseases.
• Care for patients monitored with telemetry.
• Administer medication.

Once you are settled in, you will have the opportunity to work in the emergency rooms at HIA, which many of our employees describe as both challenging and enjoyable.
