Home Care Hammarstrand is a secure and good workplace with freedom under responsibility and fantastic colleagues. We provide care and support for the elderly and people with disabilities in the Hammarstrand area, and the operations are always active, 24/7, year-round. Our coverage area is central Hammarstrand and surrounding villages bordering the Stugun and Bispgården areas. We have a total of approx. 120 care recipients with varying interventions and care needs, where daily visits involve approx. 60 different care recipients. The staff group consists of 27 permanent employees and some temporary staff. Within home care, you will meet many people with more or less complex life situations to handle, and support from colleagues is paramount. With us, you are part of the team, and job satisfaction is important, as is good cohesion.

Job Responsibilities

Do you have a genuine interest in working with people? Then we have a job for you as a Care Assistant in Home Care Hammarstrand.

In the job, it is important that you have the ability to see each person's needs, are thorough, and take responsibility. You enjoy working with older people, have a high degree of empathy, are receptive, have a good manner of dealing with people, and good teamwork skills.

As a Care Assistant in home care, you provide care, help, and support to the individual based on their individual needs and create a meaningful daily life. The work includes both medical and rehabilitative interventions performed under delegation from licensed personnel. You work directly in the individual's home and must therefore be able to make independent decisions and be solution-focused.

To meet the challenges of the future, we in Ragunda are working to implement and develop welfare technology solutions within care. This is important to improve the quality of our work as well as increase independence and strengthen self-esteem among those we serve.

Working hours vary with service according to schedule, day, evening, and weekend. Ragunda Municipality applies flexible working hours with the help of the scheduling tool Multi Access.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a Care Assistant education.

The position requires that you have a Category B driver's license.

In the work with our users, a dignified approach and a warm interest in working with people are very important. We want you to have a positive outlook, good teamwork skills, and be responsible. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

It is a requirement that you can understand and make yourself understood in Swedish in such a way that you can communicate with users, relatives, and staff. It is also important that you are computer literate and can express yourself well in writing, as documentation is an important part of the work. As well as technical competence to handle care technology.

It is meritorious if you have experience from previous work in home care.
