Resident Physician (ST) at Storvik Health Centre
Storvik Health Centre currently has approximately 25 employees and provides primary care services including a doctor's clinic, district nurse clinic, assistant nurse clinic, Child Health Centre (BVC) at the family centre, a psychosocial team, occupational therapy, health science professionals, physiotherapy, and home visits. We also have specialist clinics for conditions such as diabetes and hypertension. All employees are highly engaged and participate in the development of our operations. A positive atmosphere and excellent collaboration between all professional categories characterize our workplace. We currently have around 6,000 registered patients, and this number is growing. We are centrally located in Storvik, which has good transport connections by both bus and train, only 25 minutes from Gävle and 37 minutes from Falun.

Job Responsibilities
We are looking for someone who is interested in or has already started their specialization (ST) in general practice. The responsibilities include both emergency and scheduled clinic operations. We also provide staffing for Supported Housing (Säbo) and Child Health Centres (BVC), so these are areas where you will gain experience. The work is varied and stimulating as we treat patients of all ages with diverse medical backgrounds. You will receive supervision and support from experienced colleagues specializing in general practice to help you develop and gain experience for your future work as a specialist.
As a Resident Physician with us, you will work with:
- Clinic work involving emergency visits, new patients, and follow-up appointments.
- Supported Housing (Säbo) and Child Health Centres (BVC).
- Development work.

As a Resident Physician, you must have:
- Swedish medical license.
- Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Experience from primary care is meritorious.
