We at Rörstorp Home Care are now looking for positive, engaged, and flexible assistant nurses who wish to contribute their knowledge, joy, and experience to the daily lives of our clients.

We are looking for two assistant nurses to join our team.

Here, you will meet a warm and tight-knit work team that strives together to provide each individual with care that is personal and adapted to their needs.

As an assistant nurse here, you work with interventions such as personal care, activation, social interaction, training, outdoor activities, and various service tasks.

We work with fixed care contacts and base our work on the client's implementation plan – one of our most important tools. You document in our business system and also perform delegated health and medical care tasks from nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists.

We are looking for you who are self-reliant, flexible, and have an easy time collaborating – both with colleagues and other professional groups in the team around the client.

You have a genuine interest in helping people and see the unique needs of each individual. You are secure in pressured situations, responsible, and have a great commitment to your work.

Working hours vary and include day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Job Responsibilities

To provide care and service according to the decision of assistance and the implementation plan, with respect for the client's integrity, participation, and self-determination, keeping the client's needs at the center.

As an assistant nurse, you are also the fixed care contact for the individual client, you are responsible for the care, and you assist in contacts with authorities, relatives, healthcare, etc.

The job responsibilities also include IT-based documentation and administration as well as delegated health and medical care tasks.

Qualifications

Care and Nursing Program or other education that provides assistant nurse competence, as well as good computer skills. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability, and experience is meritorious.

Requirement to hold a medication delegation and an insulin delegation.

You need to have a completed education from the Care and Nursing Program or equivalent. Previous experience within care and nursing is meritorious, as is if you have had additional responsibilities – for example, a special interest in delegated tasks within HSL (Health and Social Care Act).

We are looking for you who are solution-oriented, calm, and secure in yourself. You take responsibility, collaborate well with others, and have a professional approach.

It is important that you are receptive and flexible in meetings with both care recipients and colleagues, and that you follow the operations' guidelines and decisions.

Conditions

As of July 1, 2023, 'assistant nurse' is a protected job title, and to be eligible as an assistant nurse, a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare must be provided.

To be employed, you need to show an extract from the police's criminal record register (form 442.3 – control of own information according to Section 9, Paragraph 1). A driver's license is a requirement – and you must also be able to cycle.

Approved grades in Swedish.
