We are now looking for an Assistant Operations Manager for our LSS operations in the Västerås and Örebro regions. Here, engaged and competent teams work with a focus on quality, participation, and the individual's right to live life on their own terms.

As an Assistant Operations Manager, you will have the opportunity to work close to the operations and be an important part of the daily leadership. As an Assistant Operations Manager, you work closely with the Operations Manager and other support functions to ensure well-functioning operations with high quality. You are a support in daily operations and actively participate in issues related to operational development, quality, working environment, planning, and coordination.

In this role, you will gain broad insight and experience in the areas included in leadership within LSS. You will work closely with Operations Managers and the operations, gradually gaining the opportunity to develop your knowledge in both quality and legislation, as well as economics, working environment, and personnel issues.

You have a relevant university degree, such as a Social Worker, Behavioral Scientist, or another equivalent education.

We would appreciate if you have experience from care, social work, or work with people with disabilities, but we do not require previous managerial experience or experience of LSS leadership. The most important thing is that you have a genuine interest in people, a desire to develop, and a commitment to quality and operational development.

As a person, you are responsible, structured, and solution-oriented. You thrive in collaboration, build good relationships, and are motivated by contributing to the development of both individuals and operations.

Requirements:

• University education such as Social Worker, Behavioral Scientist, or another equivalent education that meets IVO's requirements for leading positions within LSS.
• Experience from care, social work, or work with people with disabilities.
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).
• Good administrative and digital skills.

Meritorious if you also have:

• Experience of working within LSS.
• Experience of working with people with disabilities.
• Experience in coordinating roles, such as support pedagogue, coordinator, team leader, or similar.
• Experience in quality work and documentation according to SoL/LSS.
• Education in clarifying pedagogy, low-affective approach, or other relevant methods.

Most of your working hours will be based at the facilities to enable close leadership. The facilities are located in the Västerås and Örebro area.

Employment level: Full-time, permanent position with a 6-month probationary period.
