At our Operations Services department, we are responsible for the daily operations of the City Hall and several other facilities in Kungälv. We are now looking for you who want to work as a casual employee (building concierge) and step in when needs arise!

Job Duties

As a casual employee, your tasks are adapted to the needs of the operations. Your day might include:

• Addressing reported faults
• Performing simple rearrangements and assembly
• Completing and maintaining premises
• Carrying out simple repairs
• Handling orders and following up on work
• Performing transport tasks
• Mail and goods handling
• Waste management and sorting
• Support in our IT systems

Many assignments are handled in our reporting system, Nilex, making it easy to keep an overview of the workday.

Working Hours:

• Work is performed as needed (daytime, weekdays, and sometimes other times depending on operations)
• You will be contacted when needs arise, based on your availability

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Upper secondary education in, for example, technology/crafts, or equivalent experience
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Basic IT skills
• Category B driver's license
• Experience in service work

Merits:

• Local knowledge of Kungälv
• Experience with systems such as Nilex
• Knowledge of waste sorting

To work with us, you need to provide an extract from the Swedish Police Authority's register of convictions (belastningsregistret).

• Selection is made continuously based on operational needs
• You provide two references (manager/supervisor or teacher if you lack work experience)
• Previous employment within the municipality may be followed up with an internal reference
