About the job

As a substitute kitchen assistant, you play an important role in ensuring that operations run smoothly when a permanent staff member is absent. The tasks are the usual ones in school and preschool kitchens: helping with serving, salad preparation, simple cooking, dishwashing, and cleaning. In larger kitchens, you are part of a team, while working alone is common in preschools.

About you

We are looking for someone who has completed the restaurant and food program or similar education and has experience working in preschool kitchens, school kitchens, or similar large-scale kitchens. It is particularly important that you have good knowledge of safe food handling and allergy-friendly cooking.

Your knowledge, curiosity, and engagement make a difference. To succeed in the assignment, it is important that you are good at collaborating and can plan your own work. It is also important to be able to see what needs to be done and take the initiative.
