Technical Trainer for Industry and Vocational Higher Education

Our education department is expanding rapidly. With over 10 agreements with various private and public vocational higher education (YH) providers, and a number of new customers with ongoing negotiations, we see an increased need for new hires. Today, we are four full-time employees, and our business plan aims to triple this number.

What characterizes our activities during the first and second quarters of 2026 is both a completely new webshop and a future-proof App Factory – both development areas are being created with the aim of not only keeping up with the rapid technological development in several different technical fields, but also ensuring a head start regarding the increased competence requirements within the industry.

What we are looking for

We are now looking for technical trainers and specialists who want to help develop the next generation of industrial competence.

Our assignments currently cover areas such as industrial automation, maintenance technology, robotics, industrial data communication, process technology, production technology, digitalization, and Industry 4.0. Therefore, we are looking for people with both theoretical knowledge and practical experience from the industry.

You thrive equally in educating and mentoring as you do in working with technology, problem-solving, and improvement work. As a trainer with us, you will become an important part of developing course content, mentoring projects, and creating pedagogical approaches that prepare students and professionals for the reality of the industry.

The assignment can be adapted in scope and combined with other professional commitments.

Your Competencies

We would like you to have experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Industrial automation and PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Beckhoff, or similar)
• HMI, SCADA, and monitoring systems
• Industrial networks and communication (Profinet, Profibus, Modbus, OPC UA, Ethernet/IP, or similar)
• Maintenance technology, preventive maintenance, and operational reliability
• Troubleshooting, electrical technology, sensors, actuators, and industrial installations
• Robotics and robot programming (ABB, FANUC, KUKA, Universal Robots, or equivalent)
• Industrial data communication and IT/OT integration
• Process control and control engineering
• Digitalization, Industry 4.0, and smart industry
• Production technology, Lean, improvement work, or quality development
• Practical experience from manufacturing industry

It is not necessary to master all areas. We welcome applicants with specialist competence in one or more of the above technical areas.

General Points

We work with both Vocational Higher Education institutions and companies, so the art of transferring knowledge to different professional groups is crucial! This requires a combination of lecture techniques and practical demonstrations – both remotely, at physical meetings, and on-site at our corporate customers.

Formal Requirements

• At least a bachelor's degree or equivalent vocational higher education degree (EQF level 6 or higher)
• Strong background in one or more technically related subjects

Merits

• Green Belt certification or higher
• Experience in teaching or mentoring
• Experience with operating systems other than Windows
• IT: Knowledge of hardware and software, including Raspberry Pi or similar systems

Practical Aspects of the Role

The tasks consist largely of material development. Please specify in bullet points, on a scale from 1 to 10 (where 1 = lowest and 10 = highest), your competencies in the following areas:

• Office programs: LibreOffice, Google Docs, MS Office
• Graphics: GIMP or similar
• Multimedia: OpenShot, OBS Studio, or similar
• Drafting: Google SketchUp or other CAD applications
• Project management: ProjectLibre or similar

This helps us get a clear picture of your strengths and where you might need support in the role.
