Birka Gotland is the Baltic Sea's new pleasure cruiser, offering recreation and experiences for the everyday commuter. The ship is operated by Gotland Alandia Cruises, founded in 2023 as a joint venture between the shipping companies Viking Line and Gotlandsbolaget. Birka Gotland offers cruises and regular trips between Stockholm, Mariehamn, and Visby from spring 2024 onwards.

Working as a temporary staff member on Birka Gotland:

• A shift on board varies between 1 and 14 consecutive cruises.
• We offer shifts based on need, both with short notice and with advance planning.
• Safety duties are included in all roles.
• Work clothes and all meals on board are included. You have your own cabin, as well as access to the staff gym and sauna.

Catering Host

Duties vary and include everything from preparing and maintaining the buffet to working at the cash register, dishwashing, keeping the restaurant clean and tidy, serving food, and setting and clearing tables. Knowledge of basic conference technology is an advantage.
