Holmsund Care and Housing Facility is centrally located in Holmsund with direct proximity to a health center, pharmacy, and grocery store. We offer great opportunities for outdoor activities thanks to balconies, terraces, and a shared inner courtyard. The building has three floors and accommodates 59 apartments. Holmsund Care and Housing Facility consists of six units: three group homes, a short-term care unit, a service housing section, and a group home located in Obbola.

We are now looking for a Nurse!

Your responsibilities

Within Umeå Municipality, you work as a nurse with responsibility for health and medical care interventions for our residents. The tasks include, among other things, medical assessments, wound dressing, medication management, documentation, and supervision of care staff. You ensure that medical interventions maintain high quality and function well in daily work.

In this role, you collaborate closely with care staff, paramedical professions, and the manager at the care facility, while coordinating contacts with doctors and other healthcare professionals in both primary care and inpatient care.

Working hours are during the day and on weekends.

About you

As a nurse in the municipality, you and your nursing colleagues hold the highest medical competence. Therefore, it is important that you enjoy taking personal responsibility, have good initiative, and contribute to good communication in collaboration with other professions. Naturally, you have a good and respectful attitude when interacting with residents and their relatives.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Valid certificate from the Swedish Police Authority (no criminal record)

Merits

• Further education in elderly care, district nursing, or psychiatry

Animal fur (dogs and cats) and smoking individuals may be present at the workplace, so you should not be allergic. Heavy lifting may occur, but assistive devices are available.
