We are looking for a Nurse Responsible for Care (Omvårdnadsansvarig sjuksköterska) for one of our dementia wards. The position is full-time (100%).

Villa Telegrafen is a new senior living facility in the beautiful, sea-adjacent town of Nynäshamn. About the role

You are the hub around the residents' health and medical care efforts, working to provide quality of life. You are responsible for ensuring medical orders are followed. You regularly conduct risk assessments and follow-ups to ensure high quality in the operations.

Collaboration and support

You are part of a team with care staff, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. An important role for you is to coach and educate the care staff so that together you give each resident the best possible life. In this job, you work closely with the residence's group managers who are responsible for the care staff. Our group managers also coach and work together with the teams in daily operations.

We invest in leadership development for you as a nurse. A course we can offer you is "Leading without being a manager".

Getting to know the residents

Understanding the residents' wishes and noticing small changes in their health and medical conditions is often crucial for correct assessments and decisions.

Your experience and knowledge

You are a licensed nurse, and we would like you to have worked a few years within elder care. Our residents are often multi-morbid, which requires you to have broad knowledge of various diseases and conditions, as well as an interest in the aging human being. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are important.
