Job Responsibilities

As a Quality Assurance Nurse Aide, you will, together with the unit manager, be responsible for following up on and developing quality work within the work group. This involves ensuring that guidelines and routines are followed and that the organization's goals are met. You will also work in daily care as part of the team. The role includes coaching and supervising colleagues, as well as collaborating with other quality assurance nurse aides at the facility.

Qualifications

  • Educated as a Nurse Aide (undersköterska) with a valid professional certificate.
  • Experience and knowledge in care and elderly services.
  • Strong proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment and adapt to new challenges.
  • Flexibility in thinking and action to handle changes effectively.
  • Thrives in team settings and strives for common goals.
  • Communicative, clear, and able to listen actively to understand others' perspectives.
  • Capable of giving and receiving constructive feedback.
  • Service-oriented with a genuine interest in service users and their needs.

Employment Conditions

  • Type of employment: Permanent position.
  • Duration: Permanent.
  • Working hours: Shift schedule. The position averages 37 hours per week. Working hours are scheduled and may include days, evenings, and weekends depending on operational needs.

Other Information

A probationary period may apply. Karlskrona Municipality operates with full-time work as the norm, offering 100% employment with the possibility of part-time work. Working hours are scheduled during days and evenings on weekdays and weekends. The municipality uses collaborative shifts, meaning part of the working hours may be performed at another workplace.

To be considered for employment within the Elderly Care Administration in Karlskrona Municipality, a certificate of good conduct (extract from the police register) must be provided. It is important to order the correct extract; specifically, the extract for work in residential homes for youth (HVB-hem).
