Retail Assistant at Unda Camping & Resort

At Unda Camping & Resort, we are currently seeking a responsible retail assistant for our service shop. The shop is a natural meeting point for our guests, where we sell everything from ice cream, sweets, and drinks to fresh food and breakfast products.

About the role

As a retail assistant, you are one of our most important contacts for our guests. You assist customers, keep the store tidy, and are responsible for ensuring our fresh food counters are always well-stocked, fresh, and inviting.

The duties include, among other things:

• Customer service and cash register work
• Sales of ice cream, sweets, drinks, and food products
• Restocking and displaying goods
• Responsibility for fresh food counters and daily product checks
• Simple serving of beer, wine, and cocktails
• Cleaning and tidying to create a pleasant shopping environment

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who:

• Enjoys working with people and providing good service
• Is positive, self-motivated, and responsible
• Can handle a high tempo without losing focus
• Understands the importance of order, quality, and precision
• Is solution-oriented and proactive
• Has basic knowledge of beer, wine, and cocktail service
• Can communicate fluently in Swedish, Norwegian, or Danish

The job is not difficult – but it requires taking responsibility and understanding that many guests' experiences are influenced by the work we do every day. During the high season, the pace is sometimes very high, so we are looking for someone who can stay calm, prioritize correctly, and provide good service even when it is busy.

Requirements

• You must be able to communicate fluently in Swedish, Norwegian, or Danish, as the role involves significant customer contact and responsibility for sales and service.
• You must be at least 18 years old.

Merits

• Previous experience from retail, restaurants, or service roles
• Experience with cash register work
• Knowledge of food handling
• Experience in alcohol service
• Age 20 or older
