As a student assistant at Ingrid School, your task is to help our students both socially and academically in their various subjects. You will work to ensure that the students feel happy and secure, as well as to help their schoolwork progress.

To be able to help our students with their schoolwork on the science track at upper secondary school, it is required that you have very good knowledge in the natural sciences. You must therefore have completed a science track at upper secondary school or have education in these subjects from university/college.

You will work in a small team consisting of a responsible teacher and a student assistant. Together, you are responsible for a small group/class. The duties of the student assistant also include working at Ingrid School's after-school activities program, which starts when the school day ends.

Information about the school

Ingrid School is a small primary and upper secondary school primarily adapted for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), but is open to all. The school is located in Bergshamra, Solna.

The school works based on TEACCH pedagogy, where each group/class has one teacher and one to two student assistants.

Ingrid School is a workplace with good opportunities for pedagogical challenges and development, with the aim of creating good learning and after-school environments for children and young people within ASD. To make this possible, staff receive continuous supervision from a psychologist/pedagogue as well as further education within ASD.

Ingrid School offers a school environment characterized by calm and quiet, where you have great freedom and time to work individually with each student.
